Amino acids
RNA does not become protein. Messenger RNA transcribes the DNA code and carries it to a ribosome where it is translated by transfer RNA into a sequence of amino acids that will make a protein. The entire process is called protein synthesis.
A single stranded RNA molecule that encodes the information to make a protein is called messenger RNA (mRNA). This molecule serves as a template for protein synthesis during translation in the ribosomes of a cell.
In the process of transcription, DNA is used as a blueprint to make m-RNA which codes for a specific protein.
Its Ribosome
Both are involved. DNA contains the instructions, which are transcribed onto mRNA. This mRNA travels out of the nucleus to the ribosome - where it is translated into an amino acid sequence (polypeptide/protein).
Translation. During translation, the information from messenger RNA (mRNA) is used to synthesize a specific polypeptide by ribosomes with the help of transfer RNA (tRNA) molecules, ultimately leading to the production of a protein.
The main function of RNA in the cell is to carry genetic information from the DNA in the cell's nucleus to the ribosomes, where it is used to make proteins through a process called protein synthesis.
A cell uses its DNA to make proteins through a process called protein synthesis. The DNA is first transcribed into messenger RNA (mRNA) by an enzyme called RNA polymerase. The mRNA is then translated into a protein by ribosomes using transfer RNA (tRNA) molecules to bring in the correct amino acids.
transfer RNA
The process of DNA being used to make RNA is called transcription. During transcription, RNA polymerase enzyme unwinds a section of DNA and synthesizes a complementary RNA strand by adding nucleotides according to the base pairing rules. This newly synthesized RNA molecule then serves as a template for protein synthesis during the process of translation.
The process of producing a protein product from a messenger RNA (mRNA) is called transcription. This occurs in the cytoplasm of a cell, and typically at the rough ER.
DNA changes to RNA when the nucleus is going through protein synthesis. in order for your ribosomes to make protein they must copy a portion of your DNA, change it into RNA then translate the RNA into amino acid sequences which come all together to make a protein ...
