The only thing that will happen is the court case will run on for longer while evidence is viewed. If the defendant is found guilty they may possibly get a longer sentence for taking up more court time.

Are you convicted if you plea guilty?

Yes. It's called a plea bargain or a nolo contendre plea. Meaning that you do not contest the investigating reports that place you as the suspect of a crime. Instead of being heard in a jury or judge trial setting to be convicted, you go directly to a sentencing trial.

Can you plead guilty without elocution?

Usually, a guilty plea from a defendant is entered as a result of a deal that is reached between the defense and the prosecution. In many cases, plea agreements like this offer the defendant a lesser sentence if they enter a gulity plea voluntarily. For the most part, prosecutors will insist that the defendant stand before the court and elocute to the crime. If the defendant refuses, this would most likely invalidate the plea agreement. In cases where no plea bargain is in play, the defendant cannot be forced to say anything at all. They can stand on the 5th amendment and exercise their right to remain silent until the cows come home.

Why did Sandusky do it?

Jerry Sandusky has not yet been convicted. Under US statute, until he is convicted, any crimes are alleged and he is a suspect or accused. "Why" he may have done anything would have to be answered by him, and him alone, and as long as he maintains a not guilty plea, any answer is likely to be not forthcoming any time soon.

Does a president lose their right to vote when impeached?

Given that he has most likey committed a felony in order to get impeached and convicted, it is likely most states would deny him the right to vote. If he is convicted or pleads guilty to a crime prior to impeachment, he would likely lose his voting rights in most states for a period of time. The prosecutor's office starts assembling their case and witnesses with a veiw towards presenting a solid case to prove the defendant guilty. When the accuse plead guilty by court immediately imposed penalty?

No. The accused will still go through a sentencing phase. Pleading guilty is basically skipping the process of trial by jury. If the accused is guilty/knows they will likely be convicted/or it is a small enough violation where the time and money required to go through the trial by jury process are not worth it, it may be more advantageous to plead guilty. The court may be more lenient and the prosecution may ask for a lesser sentence based on the defendant not wasting the court's time. Always consult legal council before making any decisions regarding a legal case. This does not count as legal council and I do not claim to be providing credible and or recommended legal advice.

If a paroled father is falsely accused of beating his son will his parole be violated or revoked?

Sadly, parolees are guilty until proven innocent. Actually, the previously convicted are guilty until proven innocent in most cases. This presumption of guilt will likely lead to violation of parole for the father. If there is an investigation, it will likely be cursory. Expect the paroled father to return to prison. This is not negativism or pessimism. This is observation of reality.
