The uterus has a lining of blood in it. When the unfertilized egg passes through the uterus it sheds this lining which causes the blood to come out.
Uterus
They are the uterus, vagina and ovaries.
a pubesent female's uterus is about the same size as a naval orange.... a pubesent male's uterus, however, is 6 times that size.
Once the follicle erupts and the egg escapes, it enters the fallopian tube. Cilia on the lining of the fallopian tubes push the egg along on it's way to the uterus. If the egg is fertilized while on its way to the uterus, it implants in the endometrium when it reaches the uterus. If it is not fertilized, it is shed in the monthly menstruation cycle.
you can only find a uterus in a female
Through the uterus: Sperm (after sex and assuming the male has ejaculated inside the female), the lining of the uterus wall (also known as menstrual blood), discharged eggs that go unfertilized, and babies if born.Through the fallopian tubes: Sperm (sperm actually meets the female egg inside the fallopian tube a little under halfway out to the uterus), and the egg. To my knowledge, that's all.
the sperm reaches the uterus through the cervical opening or cervical os.
The ovary travels down the Fallopian tube to the uterus. If fertilized, it attaches to the wall of the womb, and the baby grows. Otherwise, unfertilized, the blood comes out as your period.
