Been there and dealt with that. The best way is by being straight forward, just say you never did anything that they're accusing you of, you never have and you never will. Explain why you wouldn't do that and how you can prove you didn't (dont worry if you cant, it doesnt prove anything) and also ask them to try not to doubt you, just for a few minutes. If they're still mad, really really soon they'll be back to say sorry for accusing you of something you never did. Make sure you don't get angry, you'll see next time they'll think twice about accusing you.
