Guinea pig can bite for several reasons:
- your guinea pig is scared, agitated, or angry
- you are carrying it wrong (they generaly do not like to be carried)
- if you are holding it, maybe it needs to go to the bathroom (or simply wants to get back to the cage)
- if you are messing with its stuff near the hiding place (food, toys, etc.), guinea pig could be defending its teritory
- it could have mites, or some other ill condition
- cage could be too small
- petting it in the opposite direction in which the hair grows (no one likes that :)
Well it depends on what guinea pig food it is, ones with fruits, nuts, colored bits, ect. Are not even good for guinea pigs, so they are not good for rabbits. Timothy based good quality guinea pig pellets, however, are fine for rabbits.
Yes they can but make sure it's guinea pig muesli! And also it is better to stay on pellets as guinea pigs can be picky. But if you want to use muesli then you can :).
