It means he's normal. He's attracted to you and if he's actually discussing things with you it means that he thinks of you as a person as well. If he's telling you that he isn't ready for a relationship yet, believe him. It has nothing to do with how he feels about you; how much respect would you have for him if he jeopardized the future he discusses with you because you want or need something more. Be patient, if there's anything to this relationship, you will support his efforts for the future. If this isn't good enough for you, then he's not the right guy for you.
