Why doesn't the ground fly up when you take my foot off it if according to Newton's Third Law the ground pushes up on my foot with a force equal to the force of my foot pressing on the ground?

Well, if you don't push down the normal force will not push back.

What type of force are you exerting when your stomp your foot on the ground?

Compression.

How many toes do Ground Squirrel have?

6 on each foot

Do your feet exert a compressive force on the ground?

Yes. Of course, the ground exerts an equal-abd-opposite compressive force on you.===========================Answer #2:Experiment:-- Place a raw egg between the ground and your foot.-- What did you observe ? Was there any evidenceof a compressive force anywhere ?

A boy on a skateboard pushes off the ground with his foot He and the skateboard accelerate down the sidewalk due to the force?

...he exerts against the ground

Can ground reaction force on the athlete's foot be greater than their body weight?

Yes; a running athlete can exert up to 4 times their body weight in force upon the ground.

What is the force required to lift a 270 kg rock one foot off the ground?

In order to lift a 270 kg, which is about 596 pounds rock one foot off the ground you will need a forklift or other weight lifting machinery. A normal person will not be able to lift a rock that heavy on their own.

What is the force of a foot kicking a soccer ball with the force of the soccer ball on the foot?

by applying force to the ball the ball will apply an equal and opposite force on the foot. when you kick the ball, the ball will move forward and your foot will move backward. this force is unnoticeable to the common person simply because we are not looking for it

If you stand on one foot you increase the pressure you exert on the ground because?

you have decreased the area over which the force is applied, and pressure is force per unit area

What law of motion is it when you feel a force against the sole of your foot as you take a step forward?

Newton's 3rd law of motion states is basic terms that for every action there is an equal, but opposite reaction (if you push against a wall with force F, then the wall will push back with force -F). When you walk/run forward, you exert a force on the ground that goes diagonally down and backward. The equal, but opposite reaction is the ground exerting a force on your foot that is diagonally up and forward (exactly opposite that applied by your foot). This helps to propel you forward as you walk or run.

How many toes should a person have?

Ten, five on each foot.

What are the forces act on a skateboard?

There are several forces involved while riding a skateboard. The force of friction (air resistance and contact with ground) acting against the motion and the pushing force from when you push off with your foot acting with motion. There are also several normal reaction forces, the weight of the person on the skateboard and the weight of the skateboard on the ground.
