most likely in a forest with dry grass and lots of trees
anywhere with adequate heat, oxygen, and fuel
next to brush or big grasslands...or even homes
tornado, wildfire and obviously hurricane
Wildfires are most likely to occur in places where climates are moist enough to allow the growth of trees and shrubs, and have extended dry and hot periods.
Mostly in the summer and in all countries except Antarctica. Australia has the greatest chance of a wildfire
On the west coast of the US.
Victimization is most likely to occur when
It can occur wherever there is dry vegetation or anywhere that can fuel the fire. Wildfires do not occur in the Sahara Desert or Saudi Arabian desert because there is little vegetation to fuel the fire and the sand is more likely to put out the fire since sand grains have pores that are so small they lack air. Fire also doesn't occur on snow because snow is made out of water that can put out the fire. Fires are more likely to not occur in rainforest or swamps because the vegetation is more wet where it can put out the fire. If the vegetation gets too dry or unhealthy it is more likely to cause a wildfire. Places where it is windy can cause the fire to spread more where it finds new areas to burn and this increases the wildfire. Areas that have experienced a drought are more likely to have a wildfire.
