2 HP, A-C Single phase, 115/230 volt motor. And you wish to operate it on 115V. First the circuit size would need to be a min. of 30amp/ #10wire.... Being a Gould is this a pump/motor? I ask because single phase pump motor are not reversible, so they have less leads to connect..Is the motor thermaly protected (check name plate) Again less leads to connect if not therm-protected. How many lead motor is it, and what are the leads #. If it is 4 leads and # t1,t2,t3,t4 connect line1 to t1 and t3 connect line2 to t2 and t4. Let me know what the # are and how many leads their are.. I would not operate a motor that large on 115V, (1HP is about max on 115V)
It depends on the battery's voltage. Such a battery's capacity is given in ampere-hours, not amperes. An 850 amp-hour 12 volt battery can theoretically operate a 12 volt motor for about 12 minutes but in practice it's probably, maybe a lot less, since the motor will probably stop as the battery nears its depletion.
The drier should have its operating voltage range marked on it. A heating element designed for 240 v would use 25% less electric power and produce 25% less heat when run on 208 v. So it would still dry clothes but it would take longer. If it has a motor to rotate it, whether the motor would operate correctly on 208 v is another matter.
Kitchen stoves operated on less than 220 volts are rare because of the high amperage that would be required for a 110-volt range to operate. You may be able to find one that is normally used in a camper or an RV.
Motor attacks cause parts of the body to jerk repeatedly. A motor attack usually lasts less than an hour and may last only a few minutes.
a whistle
less than the battery required to operate it
whistle
220 volt will use less energy.

Any age, as long as you have a license. Once you are 12 you can drive a boat with of any horse power.
Yes, you are required to have a Class L license which will allow you to operate any motor-driven cycle under 150cc. The only exception to this is if you are operating a moped (pedal-driven cycle), that is 49cc or less and ha less than 2 braking HP. In IL, you can take a free MSF course ($20 refundable deposit needed) that upon completion will allow you to add the M classification to your license which will allow you to operate ANY motor-driven cycle.
Depends upon the age and the model of the boat. Motor yachts range from less than $200k for a ~10 yr old Picnic Boat to over $3mil for a new 55 footer.
More than a 6 but less than a 15 and a darn site less than a bag of feathers when dry,Dose this help.
On October 1, 2008, there were changes in the law that may affect whether you must register your scooter, moped or other motorbike as a motorcycle. MOTOR DRIVEN CYCLES: If you have a motor scooter, moped or motorbike having a motor that produces 5 brake horsepower or less (or 3.7 kW or less) and a seat height of at least 26 inches, you may operate it on the roadway without registering it. However, you must have a valid motor vehicle operator's license to operate it, and you may not operate it on any sidewalk, limited access highway or turnpike. If the maximum speed of your cycle is less than the speed limit of the road that you are on, you must operate in the right hand lane available for traffic or upon a usable shoulder on the right side of the road unless you are making a left turn. As of October 1, 2008, these vehicles are referred to as "motor driven cycles."

We are looking to put a newer mercury on the boat, hoping that it weighs less or the same as the one we got. michaele.trotter@gmail.com
