Killer Whales are regarded as an Apex Predator, meaning they are top of the food chain, with no natural predators of their own. They feed on dolphins, sting rays, sharks, whales, sea lions, seals, squid, a variety of fish, birds and even moose and deer when they find them swimming in waters off the North West coast of North America. Humans are the only known predator of a fully grown healthy killer whale, however sharks have been known to attack and eat younger, older and ill killer whales.
