no thats completely stupid. butane reacts with oxygen to produce carbon dioxide and water
The equation is 2C4H10 + 13O2 --> 8CO2 + 10H2O This means that for each mole of butane there are 5 moles of water produced. We have 7.01 g of butane = 7.01/58 moles of butane = 0.12 moles. Thus we will get 5 x 0.12 moles of water, = 5 x 0.12 x 18 g of water = 10.88 g.
Oxygen can act as and oxidising agent and convert ethane to carbondioxide and water. But this takes place at high temperature.
oxygen reacts with iron and forms rust Oxygen reacts with iron to form iron oxide.

It Increases

the temperature should increase not decrease
The temperature, of course increase.
the temperature should increase not decrease

Yes, graphite reacts with oxygen but not at room temperature. The temperature has to be quite high ;)
Oxygen affects rusting , not temperature. Rust is created when the matal reacts with the oxygen in the air see. (: Hope it helped.

Hydrogen is not inert it reacts explosively with Oxygen to create water H2O
