You should be able to begin eating "hard" foods roughly 3-5 days after the extraction process. It is, however, more recommend to do a step up program. Here is an example:
- Day 1: Soft foods or liquids only: Jello, Yogurt, Milkshakes, Soups, etc
- Day 2-3: Soft foods to moderately hard foods. Soft cookies, Breads, etc
- Day 4-5: Moderately Hard Foods to Harder Foods. (Normal Diet, unless still tender then visit Days 2-3 until you're ready).
