If you take an online driver's ed course, it does not take long at all. It's set to go at your own pace. If you were to take a classroom course, it's required by the state that it be 30 hours. Take it online, it's equivalent to the state requirement but it will not take 30 hours!

∙ 13y agoyou take it when your 15 iin a half.First you will need to take drivers Ed if you are under 17 in a half and a good website would be driveredtogo.com it cost like 20 dollars plus use the code X3K-DEB-55A for a discount when you complete this you will get a certificate and you can then get a drivers book at the DMV and study and take it. You do not need to make a appoitment just go there and take it.

∙ 13y agoYou can get your provisional license when your 16. However you can't start taking driving lessons until your 17th birthday. You are allowed to drive in private land if your under 17.Before driving your own car it is good to learn driving techniques and skills from a driving school.
