Uh...the same way you can tell if you are heterosexual.
If you are gay you are a male who is sexually/romantically attracted to other males.
If you are a lesbian you are a female who is sexually/romantically attracted to other females.
Sometimes it pretty obvious. And sometimes its not. The real answer is that you can't easily tell unless the person is working hard to identify with the gay/lesbian community and is wearing signature clothes and deliberately behaving in such a way as to broadcast to the world that he/she is gay/lesbian. Such behaviour is common enough in gay/lesbian neighbourhoods and major cities, but in conservative places gay/lesbian people can be quite invisible.
I guess that if you are lesbian, you know you like girls... if you're gay you like boys and if you're straight you fancy the opposite sex.
Yes there is, but it doesn't tell the truth. The only person that can determine the fact of whether you are gay, lesbian or bi is yourself.
A person who is not a gay and lesbian :) She is also awesomethe person who put her as a gay lesbian is a gay lesbian
At one time, the catch phrase was "Don't ask, don't tell," but as of 2011, gay people are able to serve openly in the military.
Only time will tell. One doesnt detirmine they are gay bi or lesbian over night.
If they did then they wouldn't be gay or lesbian now would they?
The words "gay" and "lesbian" mean the same thing.
You don't have this choice. If you are a gay man, you are a gay man. If you are a gay woman, you are lesbian.
No, you aren't gay if you like a lesbian. She is still a female.
You mean ' How do you tell your friends are mad if you tell them you're a lesbian'?? That's easy, they avoid you and make fun of you publicly. It also means you need to get new friends. If you mean "How can you tell if your friends will be mad if you tell them you're a lesbian?" the easiest way is show them you support lesbian/gay rights. If one of your friends says "that's so gay" (meaning that's stupid, or something like that) tell them that's not a good thing to say. Saying stuff like that is offensive to lesbian and gay people -- it's like saying "that's so black", for example. If one of them makes fun of lesbians, object. Tell them you don't like that kind of talk. If one of them says "Why? Are you a lesbian?" you can either say "yes" or "what if I am?" Your real friends will be your friends no matter what!
being bisexual is where you was either gay/lesbian or straight first but then you changed to straight or gay/lesbian eg. you was gay but then you fell in love with a woman.
