When clutch is engaged clutch goes down but wont come back up is there a possible fluid problem or is your clutch is completely gone 92 Nissan xe?

Sounds like a bad master cylinder or slave cylinder. Also make sure you check the clutch fluid it is probably empty. Add fluid and check the next day or so if it is almost empty itis the problem listed above. Also but not probable leaking line. Also check security of clutch master cylinder to bulkhead.(Had a pathfinder with similar problem!)
