There are not nine fruits; but as The Bible says there is "The fruit of the Spirit" and not The fruits of the Spirit. Galatians 5:22-23 lists nine attributes of the Holy Spirit. These nine attributes are all contained within the Holy Spirit; just as several attributes pertain to a plum; the plum is round; sweet; firm and juicy. To have the plum enables you to posses and appreciate all of its attributes. The extent to which a christian allows the Holy Spirit to be active in their life determines the extent to which the fruit will be evidenced through their life; that is to what extent love; joy; peace; longsuffering; gentelness; goodness; faith; meekness and temperance are displayed through their life.
The fruit is not to used for your purposes but it is produced by the power of the Holy Ghost to establish you in his kingdom and to make you valuable for the purpose of establishing his kingdom in the hearts of others.
"Ye shall know them by their fruits (actions and and attitudes); every good tree bringeth forth good fruit; but a corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit. I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing. Matthew 7th chapter and John 15th Chapter
He used a shamrock to symbolize the Father, Son, and the Holy Spirit.

In the Gospel of John, the words Holy Spirit is used 5 times. In Johns other books (1st, 2nd, 3rd John, and Revelations) the words Holy Spirit are not used. But the word Spirit is use many times, referring to the Spirit of God or Holy Spirit, approximately 40 times in the New International Version of the Holy Bible.
The Holy Spirit has never been absent. In the beginning, the Spirit moved over the waters. The Holy Spirit has moved the hearts of man to draw closer to God since then and has spoken through the Prophets. The Hebrew word Ruah (Roo-ahh, roll that "r") means simultaniously breath, wind and spirit. Anywhere you read in English one of those words in the New Testament (if not the Bible), you could just as well use either of the other two.
There isn't actually a Scripture in the Bible that says that. But only true Christians possess the Holy Spirit within them (I Corinthians 6:19) and he will continue to be in them and not leave. Unbelievers do not have the Holy Spirit in them. In the Old Testament the Holy Spirit would come upon certain people whom God wanted to use, but generally the Holy Spirit did not abide in any person.
it is the holy place for Christians so they can be saved by the Holy Spirit or God. It is also for where it is a safe place to be and worship God.

The Holy Spirit does not MAKE us holy, but will assist us to become holy by answering prayers, confirming that something is true or not. If we are worthy we will feels of its promptings, sometimes by a burning within our breast. He will not be with us all of the time as we have been given the intelligence to work things out for ourselves providing we use wisdom also.
No. The difference arises because of the different translations of the bible. The King James version of the bible uses the word 'Ghost' while most other versions use the word 'Spirit'.
