Yes, there is evidence that she did move to Boston for a while, because her husband John had a law practice there. The two lived in a series of rented homes at that time. Ultimately, they purchased their own home in what is now the city of Quincy, Massachusetts. Known as "Peacefield," it is a national historical site and well worth seeing. I enclose a link.
Abigail Adams
John Adams was the first. He moved in ,in November of his last year in office.
Adams kept a farm in Brainbridge Massachusetts just outside of Boston, but he also was in Paris for negotiations to get help for the revolution and was the first president to live in the White House.

The Boston Braves moved to Milwaukee in 1953.
John Adams' daughter, Abigail, became engaged at 17to man her father did not approve of. His son, Charles, died at age 30 of cirrhosis of the liver after a life of alcohol abuse and general lack of success. John Quincy Adams had two sons, George Washington Adams and John Adams II that were alcoholics, failed in most of their endeavors and died young. Ron Reagan, son of Ronald, dropped out of Yale to become a dancer, which did not seem like a wise move to his parents.

She was one of the earliest feminist and this is reflected in her letters to her husband. As Adams was working as a lawyer and the revolution she was at their farm outside of Boston taking care of the farm and their children. They had 6 children and of those 2 died as infants. She was a strong intelligent woman who tried to influence her husband in considering women's rights when writing the constitution. As First Lady she was required to hold a ladies tea every Monday ( Martha Washington started this) and hold state dinners. The Adams family were the first family to move into the unfinished White House and she hung laundry in one of the rooms. I would think it was miserable living in an unfinished house. The letters she wrote still exist so we can learn about her through her writing.
