Amelia Earhart got her first job when she was about 17, being a waitress. She started her flying career she was about 27-30 years old. It all started whenever she saw a plane at a flying show, which was when she was 19, and whenever she was 27 she flew a plane at that same show. She ended her career making an attempt to fly across the Atlantic Ocean, which she did many times, in the Electra.=D I hope this helped you.
