During World War I, America became a formal combatant on April 6, 1917, entering the war on the side of the Triple Alliance (or, Triple Entente). America supported the Triple Alliance because of the damage caused by the Germans to American ships, goods, and lives in their "unrestricted" submarine campaign, among a variety of other causes.

first of all the U.S didn't join anyone the allies powers joined them.
It was the usa who joined the allies in 1917 (and not the other way around).
USA was on the Allies.
England was in World War 1 long before America decided to join the Allies. France, The United Kingdom and Russia were the Entente Powers (the Allies) at the beginnng of the war in 1914. Italy joined them in April 1915 and America joined them in 1917.
Axis: Germany, Japan, Italy Allies: America, England, France, Australia etc.
well, it depends on what you think of as "the allies" so the answer is yes because wichever side they joined could be "the allies". but i do know that they went against the Germans like most others so if you percieve the Germans as allies the answer is NO.
after world war one the allies put how big there battle ships and military vehicles could be. The allies or the us did not join because they thought they war peace full but the British were allies with the French when Hitler declared on France UK had to join. They were already damaged world war one but the America wasn't. The main reason we joined the war is because the Japanese attacked us and they were allies with Germany
Britain and Allies won D-Day, America was one of the Allies.
Allies it was a propaganda model to get women to join the war movement
People who join with othersfor a specific purpose.
They feared the Germans
