well, it depends on what you think of as "the allies" so the answer is yes because wichever side they joined could be "the allies". but i do know that they went against the Germans like most others so if you percieve the Germans as allies the answer is NO.
2 years. After Pearl Harbor, America joined.
Two years
Leaders knew that if they declared war, their allies had to join the fight with them.
I honestly dont know. We will do further research into the topic. ;)
yes. They didn't join the war until 1917; their allies Britain, France, Canada, Russia, Australia and others had been hard at it for 3 years by then. Note: Russia left the war the same year that America joined.
Because of the Zimmerman Telegram The Sinking of the Lusitania and bombing of merchant ship plus the allies asked us to join the war
The process forcing people to join the army during World War 1 was called conscription

England was in World War 1 long before America decided to join the Allies. France, The United Kingdom and Russia were the Entente Powers (the Allies) at the beginnng of the war in 1914. Italy joined them in April 1915 and America joined them in 1917.
Yes i think they did
Italy joined the the Allies because they thought the Allies would win. They are a very good guesser.
Axis: Germany, Japan, Italy Allies: America, England, France, Australia etc.
During World War 1, the Lusitania, a civilian boat, was struck by a German U-Boat killing many Americans propelling America on the side of the Allies. The boat was destroyed on May 7th in 1915. During World War 2, the Japanese bombed Pearl Harbor, a major naval base where most of the American Fleet rested causing the Americans to join on the side of the Allies once again.
Yes
The Allies
after world war one the allies put how big there battle ships and military vehicles could be. The allies or the us did not join because they thought they war peace full but the British were allies with the French when Hitler declared on France UK had to join. They were already damaged world war one but the America wasn't. The main reason we joined the war is because the Japanese attacked us and they were allies with Germany
because America was too proud to join in and they thought they should remain neutral
first of all the U.S didn't join anyone the allies powers joined them.
During World War I, the United States joined the allies because its neutrality had been violated by Germany -- the leading nation among the "Central Powers," against which the Triple Alliance was fighting. In addition, sympathy in America had largely already moved in the direction of the allies because of the close ties between many Americans and Great Britain.
