This chapter is when Old Major claims he has a dream, and gets all of the animals together to hear it. He says he will tell them the dream later, and he actually explains what humans are doing to them. He uses Propaganda, and gets the animals all ready to start the revolution.
The rebellion takes place in chapter two. Old major has died and the plans of the rebellion continue. The pigs assume power, and create animalism. They finally spontaniously turn on Jones and his men when he forgets to feed his animals and they force him and his men from the farm.
The rising action occurs in Chapter 1 when Old Major gives his speech which will later be turned into the philosophy of Animalism. The animals prepare for rebellion and it comes much sooner than they had thought. The inciting incident occurs when Jones gets drunk and forgets to feed the animals. They break into the barn and help themselves to food. Jones and his men arrive with whips to get control of the animals but they drive off the humans and then gather all the tools men use to control them
( whips, nose rings, chains, etc) and burn them. They rename the farm "Animal Farm" and decide to rule themselves.
The commandments were changed after the pigs were committing the crime of the Seven Commandments. When they slept in the farm house Squealer got up in the night (Chapter 8) and changed the rule to an way that they weren't breaking it. Same with killing another animal or drinking alcohol (Doing Human Activities).
In chapter two when they take over manor farm
Chapter 3. They overthrow Jones and in Chapter 4 comes the Battle of the Cowshed.

Animal farm because as the animals take over the farm they form their own little society as did the chidlren stranded on the island.
It doesn't say in the book when the rebellion happens. You can assume that it happened a long time ago. That is because the book was written half a century ago!
Animal Farm is a novel by George Orwell. In the novel, the animals attack Frederick's men because they tried to take the windmill, which was the symbol of the animal farm.
