As far as I know, according to Kosher law God has not purified the unclean foods. I don't agree with any New Testament verses that God would purify anything He has deemed unclean.
Upon baptism, you're offering yourself to God and your soul will be cleansed of all sins. Jesus died for our sins, so asking God to purify us in the name of Jesus Christ will make it happen.
Yes. Just because you pray over feces, it is still feces, and therfore, not edible. Why would praying over the unclean foods make them clean. The logic that praying over something makes it edible is not logical at all. A rat is still a rat, a skunk is still a skunk, a pig is still a pig. God said do not eat the scavengers. Today thay are still scavengers, eating the waste of other animals.

Thayer says the word means, (1) to render or acknowledge to be venerable, to hallow; (2) to separate from things profane and dedicate to God, to consecrate and so render safe from being corrupted; (3) to purify. One of the best ways to determine the meaning of a Bible word is to read it in its context.
No, pure is an adjective.A verb would be purify, as in "to purify".A verb is a word that describes an action (run, walk, etc), a state of being (exist, stand, etc) or occurrence (happen, become, etc).An adjective is a word that describes a noun (the car is blue / it was a cold day / etc).

Biblically or just the way they are?
Many are vegetarians and all are taught to refrain from eating from the list of unclean meats found in the Bible. They cant eat unclean and unhealthy foods like fish, pig, shellfish and junk food.
Pig was one of the animals considererd unclean.
From the power of God.
Leviticus 12-15
Yes, many religious beliefs hold that God can dwell within an unclean temple but it is ideal for the temple to be clean and pure to ensure a closer connection to the divine. The concept of purity and cleanliness is often associated with spiritual practices to create a conducive environment for spiritual growth and connection.
meat and fish because when you touched them yuor hands got messy
Lev:11:8: Of their flesh shall ye not eat, and their carcase shall ye not touch; they are unclean to you. Lev:11:7: And the swine, though he divide the hoof, and be clovenfooted, yet he cheweth not the cud; he is unclean to you. Unclean in the bible usually refers to what is unhealthy or outright harmful. Compare the following verses in which the word unclean appears: Lev:13:8: And if the priest see that, behold, the scab spreadeth in the skin, then the priest shall pronounce him unclean: it is a leprosy. Lev:13:27: And the priest shall look upon him the seventh day: and if it be spread much abroad in the skin, then the priest shall pronounce him unclean: it is the plague of leprosy. Unclean here refers to leprosy, a deadly disease. God categorizes the eating of unclean foods with a deadly disease, or in other words something to be avoided to save one's life.
1 Corinthians Ch3:16-17Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the spirit of God dwelleth in you? 17If any man defile the temple of God, him shall God destroy; for the temple of God is holy, which temple ye are. The Bible does not literally say that the Holy Ghost will not dwell in an unclean temple. But the Bible does say that if we are saved that our bodies are the temple of God and if that is so then the Holy Ghost is dwelling in you. If you have not asked God to come into your heart, you are a sinner and your body is not the Temple of God. The only way that your body an be the temple of God is to ask Him to live in your heart and soul. So in short I believe the scriptures IS saying that the Holy Ghost can not dwell in an unclean temple.

Jms:4:8: Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you. Cleanse your hands, ye sinners; and purify your hearts, ye double minded.
