It says that God said that we were very good in Genesis. When He created man, he looked at him and said that is was very good.
God said "good" twice on the sixth day of creation when he created animals and then created man and woman. He saw that it was good when he created the animals and again when he created humans in his own image.
Genesis chapter 1:31 says: "God saw all that he had made, and it was very good." God made the world good. Everything He created was good. Unfortunately, He also created humans to have free choice, and we are the ones who allowed sin to corrupt the world, so now it isn't so good! But God remains good, and that's a good thing for us!

I would say "God is so good; he is so good to you."
