No. There was no manufacturer named Central Arms Co. Guns with this name were made by J. Stevens, Crescent, Davenport, Pieper, and probably others. Many will not have serial numbers.

All my records indicate that stevens did not make a model 337 shotgun.If your stevens shotgun is marked U337 under the receiver,this would be a serial number,not a model number.
Unless "Johnson Stevens" is a Hollywood producer I've never heard of, I think you are asking about Hercules shotguns, not a movie. These were made by two companies, Iver JOHNSON Arms and Cycle Co and J. STEVENS Arms Co., from about 1935 until the late 1970s.

I have a 12 Ga. sitting here saying springfield manufactured by J. Stevens arms company. If that helps ya any. It's a single shot that's really short with no searial number or model number.
