nope. Not Henry VIII but Edward VIII, and that's in 1936. Henry VIII was excommunicated by the Church of Rome, for divorcing his first wife, to marry Ann Boleyn, in an attempt to have a son to be his heir. He never abdicated, and his 6th wife survived him.
