Muawiyah I died on 680-05-06.
Muawiyah I was born in 602.
muawiyah in his last days wrote the succession to his son YAZID IBN E MUAWIYAH. Even though he knew about his son but still he did so! if he had not done this the incident of karbala would never have happened!
Muawiyah made the office of Caliph hereditary.
Holy prophet prayed for ameer muawiyah that Allah teach him calculations...
Abdur Rehman Ibn e Muawiyah was the first Muslim conqueror of spain.
The siege of Constantinople was led by Muhammad II, also known as Mehmed the Conqueror, in 1453. He successfully captured the city, marking the end of the Byzantine Empire and a significant expansion of the Ottoman Empire. Muawiyah and Uthman were earlier figures in Islamic history, while Babur was the founder of the Mughal Empire in India.

First of all Imam Hasan (R.A) did not die in the war of Karbala. He died in Medina before the karbala incident. Imam Hussein (R.A) was martyred with his companions in the battle of Karbala on the 10th of Muharram year 61 AH (AD 680). Imam Hussein (R.A) was beheaded by Shimr ibn'e Dhiljawshan (the army of Yazid ibn'e Muawiyah) that caused his martyrdom.
The name Bayazid means father of Yazid (Abu Yazid in Arabic). It refers to the fifth Muslim Khalifa Muawiyah ibn Abi Sufyan who title or nicname was Abu Yazid (because his eldest son was Yazid ibn Muawaiyah)There were two Ottoman Sultans who had this name:Bayezid I (1347-1403)Bayezid II(1447-1512)
In 661, Muawiyah, the founder of the Umayyad Dynasty successfully defeated Ali and ended the Rightly-Guided Caliphate. The way Caliphs (Islamic Rulers) had come to power was through minor elections between those closest to the Prophet. Most believe that the Rightly-Guided Caliphs were people who attempted to guide Islam properly and were only interested in benefiting their people and expanding Islam. Muawiyah made control of the Islamic Empire hereditary (the Umayyad and Abbassid Empires were both hereditary) and the Umayyad Caliphs were seen to be incredibly ostentatious and non-religious. As Umayyads expanded their power, they began to set up regional governors and entrusted them with a lot of local authority. Also, the religious elite separated from the Umayyads and made the judiciary (which was run by the religious elite) a more independent body from the Caliph.
