Queen Victoria's father was never King. Her father was Edward, Duke of Kent and was the third son of King George III of the United Kingdom. Queen Victoria's Uncles George and William were King after their father, but Edward died when Victoria was an infant and Victoria succeed her Uncle William as Queen.
