It is not known when St. Andrew the Apostle was born, but he was probably a young man (20s or 30s) when he was a disciple of Jesus of Nazareth.

Likewise the date of his death is not known either. It is beleived that he died at Partras from crucifixion on an X shaped cross; but there are no surviving historical records that give the date. There is some reason to believe it was on November 30 which is his feast day. The year was probably some time between 50 and 60 AD

St. Andrew lived in the first century AD. He was probably born around the year AD1. We also do not know the date he was martyred but is probably occurred in the middle to late first century.
