I can't find any statistics on that. A quick Google search suggests that it is news when it happens and that about 2-6 scout leaders or former scout leaders are charged with child porn every year. When you consider how many scout leaders there are this is not a high number. Nation-wide, U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement, which handles most federal child exploitation cases, has made 12,000 such arrests since the agency was formed in 2003 to 2009 (2000 per year and increasing). The scouts have programs in place to protect minors. Scouts are never to be alone and out of sight with an adult leader and adult leaders are never allowed to share a tent with scouts other than their own children. The book in every year of Cub Scouting includes a section on youth protection that every parent is required to read and review with their scouts.
