Glacier National Park and Canada's Waterton Lakes National Park united to form the world's first International Peace Park on June 18, 1932. However, Glacier is a separate National Park from Waterton Lakes; they just work together in wildlife management, scientific research, and some Ranger programs that are in both parks.
