On Playstation Network you can just join Playstation Plus for the cost of live gold and get free games and not have to earn points. In June 2012 they gave out a number of free games that you keep as long as you are a member of Playstation Plus. My 320 GB harddrive is mostly filled with the free games given out by Playstation Plus
