P-1078: Powertrain - Manufacturer Controlled DTC - Manufacturer Controlled Area: Intake manifold tuning valve system malfunction - high RPM Diagnosis: Hose leak/blockage, wiring, intake manifold tuning valve, intake manifold tuning valve actuator, ECM Probably not repairable by the owner.
Current shall increase while you apply 415V for operating it and will decrease the rpm to a much low level.
this sounds like a tuning problem either the fueling or egnition timing is wrong and the engine cannot progress past a point in rpm ..get the engine tuned.as it is too difficult to say what exactly what single item is causing the prob.with the info supplied.
Stay small,,,,,600cfm to 650 cfm for streetability and happiness,,,,get too big and tuning in the low rpm (street) range can be a bummer
Unfortunately converting horse power doesn't work like that. More displacement doesn't always equal more horsepower, it depends highly on the tuning, RPM's, etc.
It is basically the nature of the rotary. Unless you have the factory intake, exhaust and tuning it's going to happen.
Tuning
There are several reasons that the rpm of a power generator is going down. The rpm going down could cause damage to the motor if it is not fixed. To find the exact reason why this is happening review your user manual.
