Model 75c... I've got one from 1979. I need a mag tube for it. Where's the best place to find one?
A Marlin Glenfield Model 60 .22 caliber semi auto rifle with a squirrel engraved in the stock and a serial number 20160178 is worth between $100 and $300. The actual value varies greatly based on its overall condition.
I have a Glenfield Model 10 .22 bolt rifle, made sometime between 1966 and 1978. It does have the chipmonk (or squirrel ?) engraving on the grip portion of the stock. All other models 10s that I've heard of have it also.
it just depends on the year it was made in if it had the squirrel i think. either that or they quit putting the squirrel on when they stopped the glenfield name and made em all marlin. But to answer your price question. I just picked up the same gun yesterday without the squirrel (which shouldn't make it anymore valuable at all) for $40 in a local gun shop. And he had 4 or 5 more similar to that gun in age and model for 35-70 depending on condition.
Dunhams has them. Just bought one today.
the gun was made during the 60s and 70s so the stock maybe somewhere there
Do a web search. Try Nurmich Arms first.
The exact value will depend on your local market, the condition of the rifle and any particular features it might have. A basic Model 60 of recent manufacture might go for as low as $70 on a person-to-person sale. Older Model 60's with higher capacity magazines command a premium, and have sold for around $100-$120 online. I have Glenfield 60 manufactured in 1977 with an engraved stock that I have seen go for as much as $140 in online auctions.
http://www.sellmystuff.com.au is the best place to buy and sell items.
At the webiste for Numrich Gun Parts. Search under gunpartscorp. Their website shows a walnut stock available.
There is a Bullpup Muzzlelite stock specifically made for the Marlin model 60 rifle. As I type this the retail price is about $150.
