the clutch is on the same side as most bikes the left side but the shifter is on the rite.
left side of transmission, just above where shifter cable attaches. the switch screws into the transmission and has a plunger that enters case and contacts shifter linkage. unlike many other i.e. GM switches that are inside vehicle on steering column or at the end of shift linkage on front wheel drive vehicles.. Trace the wiring harness that travels on left side of transmission directly to switch.
It is on the side of the transmission where the shifter cable bolts to. It is built into the neutral safety switch.
It is on the side of the transmission were the shifter cable hooks to the trans. That will be the NS switch.
It is on the drivers side of the tranny. It is the electrical switch around the shifter.
On top left side of the transaxle..just follow the gear shifter cable. It is also called the transmission range sensor
on the shifter the left hand side just under the shift button.

pop up the plastic around the shifter. upper right side.
Slide in under the drivers side of the transmission and look up at the side of it and you will see a electrical switch mounted on the side of the transmission behind the shifter cable. That would be it.
turn the little wheel on the left side of the shifter
