i was 11. so your asking the right person. i had my period around 2007.and i got it when i was developing boobs and hair under my arms.

i was 11 too. in 2006,i got it when i was developing body odor and breasts.

i get it when i was 11 it kind of funny bcuz i get it after i got home from school which is after i was taking the sexed in health

Well believe it or not i got my period when i was 11 and now i am 22. I knew i was getting my period at the age of 10 because i was developing my breast and hair on vagina and also odor under my arms and hair under my arm. Then when i turned 11 my period was low it was not hard once u had your period for like maybe 1 and half years it will come hard at first it was brown then pink then hard red. Some girls when they hear the word period they will laugh but once you get your period you wont laugh anymore. Some girls get Cramps and Headaches. here is a tip for the girls who never got there period don't be afraid to tell your mom if u do but if u want ask questions to her before you get your period to be ready. And ALWAYS keep a pad in your bag just in case you get your period in school. Start putting pads in your bag when you turn at least turn10 u'll get the hang of it like i did i had my period for 11 years well GOOD LUCK (l).

It all depends on genetics and your hormonal glands. Just wait until it comes. Some signs of when it will come are a while after you have started growing pubic hair and once you start getting your vaginal discharge.
