Best Answer

Christians typically pray whenever, wherever, for whatever and whoever.

1 Thessalonians 5:17 says "pray without ceasing." However, most Christians pray in the morning when they wake up, before meals, and before they go to bed. But they also pray anytime they want to talk to God. People pray when walking, jogging, shopping, sitting... in church or out of church. Christians have standard prayers, like "The Lord's Prayer", "Hail Mary", etc. However, many Christians begin their prayer with "Dear God", but in the Christian beliefs, referring to God includes the Trinity: God, Jesus Christ, or the Holy Spirit.

How often should you pray according to the Bible?

I don't believe the question should be "how often should we pray?", but rather "Do we pray?". As a Christian I believe we should be 100% of the day in dialog with the Lord. If we set certain times and hours that we should pray we place Christians in a box and the relationship becomes a tradition. This is a dangerious point ...! We shuld pray 24/7 as Paul said "Pray without stop". after all, prayer is a normal conversation between the Lord and the Christian; not a heavy "something" that only the most holy can do!Luke 21:36 Watch ye therefore, and pray always, ....

What is the meaning of the address of the lords prayer our father which art in heaven?

It is simply the way we Christians refer to God when we pray, I usually say Dear Heavenly father and so on. The Lords prayer was Jesus teaching us how to pray, we say God is the father, Jesus the son and then there's the holy spirit. So God is our father in Heaven

Christians can pray right where they are, wherever they are, any time. They don't need to go anywhere. However, Jesus encouraged His followers to pray in a closet; a quiet, private, secluded place. He Himself went out alone, away from people, in the early hours of the morning.
