"Beth Knesset" is the generic Hebrew term for the synagogue. Aside from all
the other community events and gatherings that may be organized in a
synagogue building, a Jewish person goes there on any morning, afternoon,
or evening when he/she would prefer to pray as part of a community, rather
than as an individual. Prayer services are three times daily, every day.
