Foxes are mostly seen in farmlands, forestlands and some urban areas. They mostly live around farmlands because there is a greater food supply (chickens, rabbits, or rats and other rodents). They normally live in underground burrows, so are rarely in the open.

Most foxes are nocturnal, so may more often be seen late in the day or early in the morning.

Baby foxes are called 'kits' first of all, and they are born in different times in different areas.

It is not common but it is also not unusual. Foxes are generally crepuscular animals but may be active any time of the day or night.
