Women; red dress, check (often black and white) apron (not whole body), shawl of the same fabric, undershawl, often a dark red fabric, black bonnet (not a normal bonnet, impossible to describe), button boots.
Men; really not sure. Shirt, braces, trousers, flat cap I believe, but on St David's Day (which is basically the only time Welsh people wear stuff like this) most men wear Rugby shirts.
Welsh national costume was largely dreamed up by Lady Llanover (and to a lesser extent by Iolo Morgannwg) as a marketing ploy for the developing tourist industry in the Nineteenth Century.
Scottish National Dress is similarly bogus, if you examine it in close detail. But Welsh costume is boguser.

They wear the same thing as every day but a bit nicer, (my grat great grandparents are welsh and yes, theyare still alive whe just celebrated teir 80th anniversary.)
