Tarantulas and scorpions wander around at night in Animal Crossing: City Folk. Tarantulas come from July-September and Scorpions come from June-August. They are just wandering around slowly at night (after 8:00 p.m.) but if they see you, they will chase after you almost as fast as you can run, but slightly slower. If they catch you, they will bite you and you will faint, awaking in front of your house. It is very tricky to catch these bugs, as they are very rare and hard to outrun while turning around and catching them.

∙ 12y agoOn some summer nights, they will chase you around. I've never been able to catch one with my net, but I've heard other people have. If they bite you, then you will be sent back to the starting screen. Good luck if you encounter you !

Scorpions- they can be found on the ground, if you see one than run away or risk catching it with your net Bees- found in trees and come out once you have shaken the tree, you may try and catch them with you net or run to the nearest building and enter it to prevent being bitten although you may not always make it.
