Spices that are kept cool in an airtight and dark container will last for many many years.
Some degradation over time will occur, but this is only to be expected.
I myself have no problems eating 15 year old black pepper. I am even sure I have some chili left from when I moved away from home some 22 years ago. Thinking about it, I will throw that away and buy some freshly ground chili instead. What I have got have lost most of its taste.
Most dry food does not actually "expire"... it just get a different taste as the air (especially the oxygen) reacts with it. This new taste is not always to the better, and we say that it is too old, even if the food is actually perfectly safe to eat.
The same goes for spices.
Keeping them in an airtight dark container minimize the exposure to oxygen and other stuff that might start to degrade it. Spices last a looong time.
1st check use by date on the bottle, if it dose not have an aroma then it could be out of date, if it taste rancid it could be out of date
If stored properly in most cases, yes. The herbs and spices will lose some the their flavor and nutritional benefit if too old, but they are not usually dangerous.
They dont really expire. they get damaged. by water or out side contaminates.
some candy does get stale after a period of time
Coupons expire at some point in general. I don't think it really makes much of a difference what the coupons are for.
i am not really sure but i think it does cos gum expires
for spices and exotic goods that were really useful.
Italian Spice is really a mixture of herbs including parsley, oregano, thyme, sage, rosemary, sweet basil & marjoram.
Yes, block cheese will eventually mold but will not really expire. You can cut off the mold and still utilize the rest of the cheese.
I heard it does but it is really so that the manufacturers don't have to give out warranties!!
really u need 2 no dis 1
Not really. There were no spices to find in North America. They did find corn, tomatoes, and coco in South America, Mexico, and the American Southwest.
Like all spices, even Kayann pepper eventually looses its kick. As to whether or not it "goes bad" and has the potential to make you sick--I've never heard of anything like that happening.
Well you can really sell it anywhere, but it sells the most at Dragon Cove.
