Muslims wake up an hour or two before dawn and eat. Then they fast until the sun sets. They then break their fast.

Contrary to some beliefs, Muslims do not "pig out" all night, then sleep all day. Muslims rest at night just as usual, and may take a nap or two during the day to keep their strength up.

What are some food eaten after Ramadan and why?

Muslims eat anything that isn't pork. That goes for both during and not during Ramadan. During Ramadan there really isn't a certain food to eat, you could eat anything actually. You eat what you would regularly eat. To break your fast some people eat dates and drink either mango or guava or water.
