When you drive the car around a sharp turn, the CV joints will make a bad clicking sound if they need repair. Look at them and see if the protective boot is missing or torn. If they make a bad noise on a turn to right or left, at least one of them are bad, and will probably require replacement.

has front end been lubed lately? if it has, then u need to pull cv joint apart and replace worn parts. it is an easy job if you have a shop manuel as well sometimes it is not the cv joint but the locking hubs. that is easier job than a cv joint
