You want to leave no less than a Quarter tank of gas in your tank at any givin time. That is if you have an in tank fuel pump. However going below a quarter tank allows the trash at the bottom of the tank to get sucked up into the lines. Also if it is an in tank fuel pump, the gas acts as a coolant for the pump.Running down to "E" runs the fuel pump hot and doing this enough will cause it to fail.
Switch to reserve when you run out of gasoline in the normal position.
Most mowers unless electric have a lever that works as a throttle/choke to start your mower. If you just pull back on the lever till the throttle/choke no longer allows gas to the engine this usually shuts it off.
Turn on the fuel valve by pointing the lever DOWN to the "normal" position. (Note: Sideways is the "off" position and UP is the "reserve" position.) Again, 6 o'clock is ON, 9 o'clock is OFF, 12 o'clock is RESERVE. A quick mnemonic to help remember which position is reserve: when you flip the lever UP to the 12 o'clock position, it's time to gas UP. "Lever UP = time to gas UP."
To operate the gas fireplace switch, locate the switch near the fireplace and turn it to the "on" position. This will ignite the gas and start the fire.
If the bike is between an 1983 to 87 it does not have a reserve switch. It has an idiot light in the dash that tells you when you are on reserve. If it doesn't work you run out of gas.
To operate a gas fireplace with an electric switch, locate the switch near the fireplace and turn it on. This will ignite the gas and start the fireplace. Make sure to follow the manufacturer's instructions for safety and maintenance.
Turn off the gas switch from inside the trunk, fill up your car with gas and trurn the switch back on.
Theres a switch/lever you push down on. Its located on the floor near the driver side door.
Rwanda has 56 billion cubic meters of gas reserve.
No. The fuel switch has two settings. On and Off. No reserve setting was designed in to it. If it is the same as my 83 750 shadow they put an indicator light on it to show when you were on reserve (mine was broken when I first found out about it and yes I had to push the bike to gas station)
There is no lever; just press the gas tank door and it will release! (-:
