I'm afraid there isn't such thing as a head split. When rottweilers are young, their forehead is quite rounded. As the dog starts to mature the head starts to flatten out and widen, the excess skin gives the impression of a line going down the center of the head. Hence the term head split.
Itβs a myth
No, but the man might injure the rottweiler depending on his strength. A rottweiler would just leave you alone like any dog kicked in the head would.
This is another one of those myths I'm afraid, they say the same for pit bulls etc. As the dog matures its head looses the rounded dome shape characteristic of a pup, to a more flatter/wider muscular appearance when reaching adulthood. There is a crease in the fur going down the centre of the head, which gives an illusion of the head split. This is where the myth has originated from.
