This answer would depend on what the Intel Quad Core was processing. Overall it is considered a powerful processor, able to handle high end games. Although it is powerful, they do come better, such as an i7.
There are a couple of different types of Intel processors, but I only know so much about this subject. But I do know that mac computers have Intel Core Duo processors and some HP computers have Intel premium 4 and Gateway has Intel Centrino Duo. If you want to buy the best Intel processor then buy a Mac since they come with the best Intel.
A processing core is a complete, independent processor. Each core has its own ALUs, fetch-execute cycles, pipelines, and cache, but shares some support circuitry with the rest of the processor. A dual-core processor simply means that there are two independent processors in a single package.
Intel i7 2600k,8M Cache, 3.40 GHz this is the latest Intel processor in market ,apart from this Intel has come up with a gr8 offer. The MacBook Pro 15 features a 2.3GHz quad-core Intel Core i7 processor with 6MB of shared L3 cache and Turbo Boost speeds up to 3.3GHz. The integrated Intel HD Graphics 4000 processor boosts performance by up to 60 percent.
No, it has single core technology. These are the options that come with that model: Intel Pentium 4 that runs at 1.80, 2.00, 2.40, or 2.50 GHz Intel Celeron that runs at 1.70, 2.00, 2.10, 2.20, or 2.30 GHz
Yes, the Blackberry 8700 does come equipped with an Intel processor. It also has other features, including a QWERTY keyboard and a bright display.
The Corsair Dominator's come in six sizes and they all vary in the sizes. They are designed for superior overclocking on 3rd and 4th generation Intel Core Processor platforms.
No, this is a processor designed for laptop computers, so the heatsink and fan will have to be specific to your laptop. You can reuse the current equipment.

They are the exact same technology, so one is not actually "better" than the other. Intel Pentium Dual-Cores use the same architecture as the Intel Core 2 Duo, just with a smaller L2 cache size. This makes the Dual-Core slightly slower in intensive applications than a Core 2 Duo at the same clock speed. A Pentium Dual-Core will still outperform a Core 2 Duo of a lower clock rate. Pentium D's are older Core 2's renamed to promote newer CPU's.
Intel publicly introduced the 486 processor in May 1990. See http://www.islandnet.com/~kpolsson/micropro for a complete history.
