The emrbyo implants itself onto the wall of the womb - on the endometrium, cell duplication and division occurs, then the outer layer of the embryo generates the placenta which connects the baby to the mother.

The endometrium begins to form shortly after the fertilized egg (blastocyst) implants into the uterine wall (endometrium). This typically occurs 3-4 days after fertilization. After implantation, the endometrium is called the Decidua, and basalis is the portion directly under the blastocyst. The Basalis joins the chorionic villi to make the placenta. APEX~ a few days after fertilization
A period is when menstruation occurs. Basically, an ovum (egg) is released from either ovary. The egg travels through the fallopian tube connected to the ovary and, eventually, it enters the endometrium. While the egg was traveling, the endometrium was thickening. If the egg has not been fertilized by sperm, it evaporates. The endometrium is not needed. The endometrium leaves the body through the vagina as a reddish fluid. This is a period.

I'd start with the poles, myself.Put them together, if the outer layer needs to have the poles inserted into them, you'd want to start there, then put the inner layer up afterwards. If the outer layer doesn't have sleeves to put the poles into, you'd still want to start there.
