What does VEX stand for robotics?
you mean what does vex stand for? Oh, it dosen't stand for anything, last year we were at the world championships and my teacher actually asked the president of Vex Robotics and he said that they pretty much chose it because it sounded cool.
Who is is Michael Mcclelland?
He is Great at robotics and he is the team captain of 1107A which came top fifth in vex world championship. His team has Usman, Nathan, and Kyle who were all involved in the successful year in Vex Robotics. In Province of British Columbia they won Excellence award which is the most Honorable award in BC robotics. They were the best team in Vex Robotics in whole B.C and Washington Area. What can you tell me about Robotics?
At my school, we have a robotics team, in which we do the following competitions: BEST, VEX, MATE, FRC and more. How do you make robots which can be prepared by kids?
At a hobby shop, you can find various robotics kits suitable for children. Personally, I recommend the VEX robotics kit if you think the children may be serious about robotics. It is more expensive, but the kit comes with almost everything you'll need for the entire robotics experience from building to programming.
From where to start for robotics im an mechanical engineer student?
In my experience, the best place to start learning about robotics is the VEX kits. The kits come with the components, software, and a manual describing just about everything you need to know about that kit. It's a great place to start learning about the different systems of a robot and how they interact with each other.

Vex robotics is a commercially available method of building robots... somewhat like lego mindstorms, only more advanced. you can purchase parts from vex such as motors, frame material, circuit boards, radio controls, sensors, etc. all of the parts are made to fit, which is helpful when building a robot. most of the parts are not as powerful or as efficient as other motors out there, and most of the parts are more expensive. however, as i said before, construction is a lot more simple

He is a member of Vex Robotics Team at H.J Cambie Secondary. One of the most skilled robotics person in the world. Excellent at Programming Driving and Building. Will compete in World Championships 2011/2012 season. Has achieved top eight rank in 2010/2011 world championships. The best member of Cambie Robotics Club.
