Every woman is different and will start showing at different times.

  • I'm nearly 3 months pregnant and I've always been small and thin, I already have a small bump I thought it was to soon to show!
  • Everyone shows different, some 5 months, some women don't show till last few weeks it, depends on the weight gain
  • It can vary with many women. Normally a woman begins to show when she is about 4 months along, but it just depends, some women I have seen don't start to show until they are 6 months along even, but a majority of women begin to show at about 3-4 months along.
  • With every woman it is different. Most women show later if she is overweight or it's her 1st pregnancy. Some women show sooner if she is thin & it's not her 1st pregnancy. With my experience with my 1st child I was 19 & did not start to show until I was almost 4 months. I was very thin & tall. With my 2nd, 3rd, & 4th I was showing by 8 weeks. By showing I mean a small bulge.
  • This is my first pregnancy and I am a size 8 and currently 2.5 months pregnant and I am showing already. Every pregnancy is different.
  • Everyone is different. I personally didn't start showing until I was about 5 months along. I've had friends that were showing as soon as 3 months, and one who didn't really show until she was almost 7 months!!
  • It is different for everyone. When I was 6 mo. pregnant with my daughter I was still in a size 5 and did not look pregnant. When I was 3 mo. pregnant with my son I looked like I was 6 mo.
  • I'm probably about a month or 2 and I'm already showing.
  • It's different for everyone. Some women don't show until the 7th month or later. Some women carry the baby more towards the back. The thinner the woman, the more likely she is to show earlier. I guess the normal time to show is about 4-6 months.
  • Women can begin to show as early as three months during pregnancy. This will mostly depend upon the frame of the woman. If she is very slender, then she will start show early than someone who may be heavier.
  • it honestly depends on the placement of your uterus in your body. some women show early because their uterus is closer to the front of their stomach. some show around 3-5 months cause its some what in the middle between the back and belly button. but if you are like me, mine is more toward my back and not show until later in the pregnancy. i am 22 weeks pregnant and i just look like i ate a bunch of cheeseburgers. i know shes there. and that's all that matters. but i expect to get bigger eventually. but right now i have no stretch marks, and i wouldn't mind if it stayed that way, as long as i have a healthy baby girl :)
  • I am a month pregnant and my belly already pokes out and has the shape of a pregnant belly. Anywhere I go people can tell that I am pregnant not gaining weight. The 2nd week I couldn't button my jeans. The 3rd week I couldn't zip my jeans. By the 4th week which I am in now I look clearly pregnant. My tummy is hard and pokes out but I have no love handles or anything. I looked on the computer before I knew for sure I was 100% pregnant, and they said at least until your 3rd month you cant show, but I'm proof you can show very early. I weighed 125 before I got pregnant, if that helps anyone. Hope this is useful!
  • This is my first pregnancy. I am seven weeks and my belly has already gotten larger. I lost two pounds when they weighed me a week ago, so it's not because I'm getting big all over. The women in my family carry big, but luckily we don't get stretch marks so I guess it's a fair trade.
  • I'm 10 weeks pregnant (my first pregnancy) and I haven't been able to button or zip my pants for 2 weeks now. I gained 10 pounds quickly, but I've lost 6 of it already. But I can't tell a difference in my pants yet! I feel like I've gained 20!! I am a little overweight already, so I was surprised that I'm already showing after only having gained 4 pounds.
  • I'm 8 weeks pregnant (my first pregnancy) and already my jeans are much tighter and people have asked. However, be careful that it's not just because you're eating more, retaining water or just bloated from the constipation.
  • Technically you "show" at 8 weeks, but the "showing" is just your stomach becoming round. Ive known women that haven't showed until they were 7 months, and know some that showed at 10 weeks. I think it mostly depends on your body and how it gains weight before pregnancy. If you gain weight in your stomach before pregnancy you may "show" sooner, but if your over weight and don't gain weight only in your stomach you wont show as quick. This is not proven nor am i saying its 100% thats juss my encounter with the several pregnant friends ive known. Being small before pregnancy means your most likely not gonna show as quick, but this is only my encounter with my friends pregnancy. And believe once you really start to show you'll wish you were still small because of all the back aches.

Yes, a tubal pregnancy does show positive as the implanted embryo is producing the HCG. If you have a positive test then start having acute pain on one side or the other (with or without bleeding) go straight to the emergency department and tell them what has happened. A tubal pregnancy can be extremely dangerous.

User Avatar

That is usually too early to start showing. At that stage in pregnancy, the baby isn't even the size of the peanut. However, your body is beginning to adjust to pregnancy, so you may find that your stomach is starting to expand slightly. However, these are the very early stages so there shouldn't be much of that yet. If it is your first pregnancy, you probably won't start to show until around 12 weeks. If it is your second or third pregnancy, you may begin showing sooner.
