100 per minute
30 chest compression then 2 breaths for an adult and 15 chest compression and 1 breath for an infant or child.
Yes; if you are doing compressions breaths should be given as well.
Yes the bar should touch your chest. Make sure it does not bounce off but more of a slight touch.
After doing push-ups, you may feel sore in your chest, shoulders, and triceps.
For both adult and child CPR with one rescuer, perform 30 compression to every 2 breaths. Also, you want to ensure that you are doing 100 repetitions per minute in both adult and child CPR. Perform reevaluations after every 2 minutes by checking the pulse of the victim and check for breathing.
tell him that he is doing it and that you want him to talk to you on an adult level.
The chest cavity increases in size during inhalation
There is no specific answer to this question. It all depends on what you are wanting to improve on your body. i.e. if you want to work on your chest muscles, you should be doing dumbbell butterfly's. If you want to work on your arms, you should be doing curls. Not everything is to be done on a bench. You should try some push ups and crouches as well.
Probably just your normal stretches with your arms and legs
When the person is out cold, turning blue under the fingernails, and has no pulse, then "immediately" is when you start chest compression. There should be around 40 or 45 compressions per minute or more. You know you are doing it right when you start bouncing up and down rhythmically on the patient's chest - that is a lot less work than the foolish way they do it in doctore/hospital shows. By the way, the current accepted CPR in most cases is hands- only. The patient has a better chance of survival when you do not stop to give her mouth-to-mouth respirations. The chest compressions move plenty of air in and out of the lungs.
You SHOULD just confront the person, and ask them why they are doing that, or tell a parent/any adult about it.
your doing the right exercises but you should only work those chest muscles twice a week and you want to lift heavy weight to promote muscle growth.
